I had the most wonderful London trip. We had a visit to the Natural History Museum and it wasn’t nearly long enough. The architecture is incredible, the history, the exhibits….. everything is amazing. Definitely in need of another visit but in the meantime, I am going to sit here inspired by the columns and windows!

I received a new vase for my birthday a couple of weeks ago and knew exactly what I needed to make to go in it! These patterns will appear in Simply Crochet next week as a fun badge make. I have attached wire instead of a pin and done! A perfect size for my new vase 🩷🩷

A visit to Easton Walled Gardens yesterday for the start of snowdrop season. So. Many. Snowdrops. I am always intrigued by what is underneath when these beautiful flowers have their faces hidden away from us. Turns out they are just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside…. You just need to look from a different perspective. 🩷

Hello! I’m still here. It’s been a while between posts. January has been hectic for me, but in a good way! I packed up my home, said goodbye/see you soon to Australia and am now snug as a bug in the UK. 🇬🇧
It’s been an emotional few weeks and goodness, decluttering is not my most favourite thing ever but it got done!
I realised that I actually haven’t crocheted much recently so I need to change that immediately!! I see some of these daffodils in my future so I thought I would share that the pattern is available at @morrisandsons

Happy New Year!!! I’ve been a tad quiet here, packing boxes and trying to get ready for our new adventure. I told myself that I needed to be busy and get things done but to help that process along I needed to find myself in some creativity. Instead of crochet, I pulled out the loom and did a little bit of weaving. It gave me the mental boost I needed to keep going! Another day, another box to pack! Head down bum up!! 🩷🩷

Ok folks so here’s some fun news from me. I am super excited (can you tell?!) to go and hang out with my mum, dad and sister (and cousins, and friends…!!) for 12-months. I really had to put my big girl pants on and go for it as I am leaving behind some amazing work opportunities but now seemed well, right. I’ll still be crocheting, I’ll still be writing patterns, I’ll still be working…just on the other side of the woooooorrrrrld! 🌍

We leave in January so plenty of time to prep yourself for the crazy amount of acorn pictures heading your way! Oh and the sticks are completely different so I’ll be sharing many a joyful stick pic!
