20. My Happy Place, by Alison Thomspon, is inspired by Eden Gardens, exploding with colour and joy. Walking through the gardens provides a sense of calm yet playfulness; feelings captured within the artist’s work. Oversized plants and flowers highlight the abundance of colour, texture and never-ending possibilities where nature is concerned. Thompson shares her “happy place” through the use of crochet, colour, imagination and nature. Visit Eden Unearthed at Eden Gardens Macquarie Park from Nov 2021 to April 22.
